From the very beginning, Cynthia has prayed to one day marry her daughter and future son-in-law. She became ordained just for this occasion, and we couldn’t imagine a more personal or heartfelt way to begin our marriage. She has supported us throughout our journey — and was even the one who encouraged Jonae to shoot her shot! We are so grateful to have her lead us into this new chapter as husband and wife.

Throughout Jason and Jonae’s journey, Jackie has been a constant source of support and encouragement. Her sweet words, gentle spirit, and quiet strength have touched our hearts deeply. We are so grateful for the way she has embraced our union with warmth, grace, and unwavering love.

Dasharia and Jonae met freshman year at UMES and since then they have been partners in crime. They’ve walked side by side through so many milestones—late nights studying, partying, surviving grad school together, stepping into motherhood at the same time, and cheering each other on through every season of life. For nearly two decades, Dasharia has been a constant source of love, laughter, and unwavering support.

Jason and Yusuf became friends while working at Dairy Queen after school. Back then, they were young men having fun and creating memories. Decades later, they’ve celebrated countless milestones side by side, laughing and always supporting each other — and now Yuef proudly stands as Jason’s best man and right hand man!

Nita is Jonae’s older and only sister. The two grew up close and now share the joy of helping raise their daughters to be just as close as they were as kids. Over the years, Nita and Jonae have collected a lifetime of family memories, inside jokes, and a bond only sisters truly understand. Nita has been there through so many chapters of Jonae’s life and she is overjoyed to have her by her side for this one, too!

Jason and Joey have been friends since high school, even working together after school. They’ve supported each other through every chapter of life while laughing, traveling, and enjoying life along the way. Jason has always appreciated Joey’s advice and friendship, and respects his honesty. He’s thrilled to have Joey by his side on this special day.

Jordyn is 9 years old. She loves arts and crafts and drawing. She is adventurous and fearless. The tallest roller coaster in the park is where she is headed.

Joelle is 8 years old and loves to dance. Joelle enjoys learning and experiencing new adventures with family and friends. She also loves traveling and wants to go to Paris.
