We started as friends. Just two people who somehow always ended up talking to each other. We talked about everything and nothing. We’d always be teasing each other.

We were both completely oblivious. That is until Jonah admitted he had feelings. He didn’t want to because we were friends, but he “did and he couldn’t help it”

It wasn’t like in the movies where the music swells and everything suddenly makes sense. It was quieter than that. It was staying around a little longer at places or on the phone just to keep talking. Finding any and all reasons to do something to see each other. It was knowing exactly what the other person was thinking just by a look. Same humor, same competitiveness, same sarcastic comments at the worst possible time, or saying something people wouldn’t ever imagine saying.

We are basically the same person — just in two different bodies.

Everyone else seemed to notice what was happening before we did. The way we gravitated toward each other. The way we defended each other and always had each others back.

Somewhere between inside jokes and LATE-night conversations, the friendship started to blur into something softer... Warmer...And then one day, it just clicked.

Not because something big happened. But because being without each other suddenly felt wrong. Starting as friends with the same hobbies turned into going anywhere and everywhere with each other — An inseparable

bond!
