HER PERSPECTIVE

It all started on a Wednesday evening when Kelly joined a Bible study group for the first time. We went to pizza that night and we happened to sit next to each other. We talked, split a pizza and exchanged numbers.

We quickly formed a friendship. We started hanging out in smaller groups, playing pickleball, having game nights. and spending time together before or after Bible study. Kelly may have shown up early or stayed late on purpose.

Soon, Kelly developed feelings for Jonah. It only took Jonah five months to catch on and finally ask Kelly on a date: Ruthies All Day followed by gravely point watching airplanes take off from DCA.

From there dating has been filled with lots of frisbee golf, weddings, vacations, road trips, and movie nights. Our friendship grew deeper as we dated, blossoming into love and respect for one another.
