What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?
Wedding ceremony will be held at Gooseberry Falls State Park at 3206 MN-61, Two Harbors, MN 55616. When you enter the park, follow signs for Campground and look for the Lakeview Shelter.
Reception will take place at Hoops Brewing at 325 S Lake Ave, Duluth, MN 55802.
Is there parking available near the wedding ceremony venue?
Yes, parking is available near the shelter. A vehicle permit is required to enter the park. You may purchase in advance at https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/permit.html or upon arrival the day of.
Is there parking available near the wedding reception venue?
Yes, free validated parking is available behind Hoops Brewing for 3 hours. Full parking options and pricing can be found at https://www.duluthparking.com/.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Smart Casual. Our wedding will be taking place *weather permitting* outdoors in the grass. May we suggest sundresses and dressy flats for women and button-down shirts with pants for men. Think stylish but comfortable and keep it practical for the outdoors. We recommend bringing a light sweater for the lake breeze. Please, no athletic wear or shades of white.
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
We recommend arriving no later than 2:30pm.
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes, there will be a break after the ceremony before the reception begins at 6pm to allow time for travel, exploration of Gooseberry Falls, etc. Check out the Things To Do tab for our recommendations.
What type of food will be served at the wedding?
We'll be serving a selection of sandwiches and hors d'oeuvres from Northern Waters Smokehaus at the reception. If you have dietary restrictions, please indicate on your RSVP.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes, hotel blocks can be found on the Travel tab above.
Are children invited to your wedding?
Children are welcome at the ceremony and reception. We look forward to celebrating with everyone! Please indicate on your RSVP if your children will be attending with you.
