How does parking work at the venue?

Upon your arrival, Rounton farm staff will direct guests to the parking lawn. In case of inclement weather, valet parking will be necessary for all guests. Go-karts will be utilized for guests needing assistance in traversing the farm’s expansive property.

What is VA weather like?

Virginia weather in the spring is varied. The good news is, the forecast for Saturday is cloudy with a high of 74 and a low of 59.

Where are the restrooms on the property?

The restrooms are located in between the ceremony site and the barn.

May I pet the farm animals?

No. The venue does not allow guests to pet the animals as it is a working farm.

Is this an outdoor wedding?

Yes and no. Ideally, we will be married in the meadow with the reception in the barn. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony and reception will be held in the barn. Heaters are available in the barn and it is an enclosed barn.

How best to get there

When traveling on Rt. 20 in Orange turn at the Harley Davidson dealership to get to the venue. GPS may try to take you down a different road from 20, but turning at the Harley Dealership is the easiest option.

Where is the guestbook?

The guest book will be in the barn on the main floor, on the gift table.

How does seating work at the ceremony?

We prefer a simple ceremony without the pomp and circumstance. Please seat yourselves wherever you’d like.

Who is in the wedding party?

The happy couple desires to keep the wedding as uncomplicated as possible. We will say our vows exclusively: just the two of us under the arch. The bride’s niece and nephew, Aubrie and Ethan Anderson are the flower girl and ringbearer, respectively. The bride’s nieces, Ellia and Tessa Anderson are the “rice” maids handing out lavender for the bride and groom’s exit.

Who is in the immediate family?

The groom, Jonathan, is an only child with parents, Glenn and Brenda Goodpasture. The bride, Delana, has three siblings: Trina Ballard, Tanya Jensen and Thad Anderson. Her parents are Paul and Mary Anderson.
