Pre Wedding
1. When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP, or can I do it online?
You can do it via the Knot website, which is preferred but also via mail. The deadline for letting us know is May 1st, with some exceptions.
2. Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?
Only a select number of our guests are invited to the rehearsal dinner. This is reflected in the RSVP section when you look up your name.
3. Where will wedding updates be posted?
On the knot website, unless you reach out via phone for specific questions or concerns.
4. Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes, we have rooms blocked at the Williamsburg Lodge
5. What is the dress code for your wedding?
The dress code is semi-formal. For example, a blazer with matching dress pants for men and a nice dress or cocktail dress for women.
6. Could you suggest places to eat, drink, and see while I am in town for your wedding?
The cheese shop is great for sandwiches. The lodge has good food. If you want further suggestions please call one of us because there are too many options to list here.
7. Am I allowed to bring my children?
“We respectfully advise this is an adult occasion (18+) however infants under 12 months are welcome”
8. Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?
Not white
9. Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Wedding Day
1. Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony is outdoors, but our cocktail hour and reception will be indoors
2. What is the weather like in the area?
In June, in Williamsburg, it could be 85 as a high and 66 as a low.
3. What is the wedding day itinerary?
This information will be on the knot, but feel free to reach out to one of us via phone or Facebook if you have specific questions.
4. What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?
The address is 310 S England St, Williamsburg, VA 23185 for both the ceremony and reception. Yes, it is all wheelchair accessible.
5. What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
Between 4 pm and 415 pm.
6. What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?
Walking if you are staying at the Lodge, Inn, Griffin. Ubering, if not parking, can be limited.
7. Will transportation be provided between the hotel, ceremony, and reception?
No, because it is not needed.
8. Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Parking is not free but included if you stay at the Lodge, Inn, or Griffin. There are designated parking lots. There is also valet parking available for a fee.
9. What health and safety measures will be in place?
The health standards will be up to the Virginia state code. You may wear a mask if you choose to do so. I highly recommend getting the flu and COVID-19 vaccine if you so choose.
10. Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes, there will be a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception that will be approximately 1.5 hours. It will be starting at 5 pm and going to 630 pm.
11. Will you be live-streaming your wedding?
No, unfortunately, at this time, we don't have the intention to do this.
Food
1. Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?
Yes, there will be an open bar and passed-around hors d'oeuvres that will be available at the cocktail hour.
2. Will there be an open bar?
YES
3. What type of food will be served at your wedding?
The menu will be finalized in January 2025.
P.S.- please come hungry! There will be a variety of food throughout the entire event!
4. Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or special diet options?
Yes, there will be a vegan option.
Wedding Weekend
1. What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?
We will be doing a faux exit around 10 p.m., and the reception will officially end at 1230 am. However, we have reserved a suit in the Lodge for welcoming, getting ready, and after the party.
2. Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
Yes, we will be having a rehearsal dinner on Friday the 20th and a Farwell brunch on Sunday the 22nd. If you want to participate, just let us know.

4. Can I post wedding photos on social media?
Yes, but please don't post during the wedding so as not to take away from the experience.
Also, as we encourage people to take photos and post pictures, keep in mind that pictures last forever, and no matter how much you try, they are never really gone once posted.
