Jon and Jessica, two unique spirits, found themselves working in the same office amid the clatter of keyboards and the swirl of daily tasks. Little did they know, this was just the beginning of a journey they would embark on together. Jessica, with her unwavering spirit and infectious enthusiasm, sensed something special in Jon from the start. It wasn't just his intelligence and the respect he commanded in the workplace that caught her attention, but also his undeniable good looks. Despite the initial hesitance that often accompanies new connections, she saw beyond the everyday exchanges of coworkers. Driven by a feeling she couldn't quite explain, Jessica took the leap that would change their lives forever. She asked Jon out, breaking through the barriers of routine and opening the door to a new possibility. That first date marked the beginning of a story they would fondly recount for years to come. As they delved into each other's lives, discovering shared dreams and complementary differences, they realized they had found something rare. Their connection deepened, turning into a profound and exhilarating bond. The chapters of their lives continued to unfold beautifully together. From the streets of St. Louis, where it all began, they ventured to Ohio, embracing new challenges and building their life together with each step. Yet, in the scenic landscapes of Arvada, Colorado, they decided to lay down roots. There, in the home they purchased together, they built a haven filled with love, laughter, and the countless memories they continued to create. March 15, 2024, marked a milestone that was both a celebration of the past and a toast to the future. On their sixth anniversary, in a testament to the enduring love that had blossomed from that first courageous date, Jon and Jessica vowed to continue their journey together as husband and wife. The commitment they made that day was a reflection of all they had experienced and a promise of all the adventures yet to come. Their love story, from the serendipitous beginning to the joyful declaration of their union, serves as a reminder that sometimes, all it takes is a moment of courage to find a lifetime of happiness. Join Colorado’s biggest and boldest Memorial Day tradition. Jon and Jessica run this every year. The residents of Boulder make this the most memorable run, jog, walk you’ll ever do! With water slides, beer, hot dogs, bacon, trampolines, bands, and other fun and random activities throughout this 6.2 mile route, there is something for everyone! Note: Please be aware of the high altitude and take care when engaging in physical activities. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
