Q + A

Q: What should I wear to a farm wedding?

A: While the day will be full of love and celebration, please keep in mind that both the ceremony and reception will be held on family farms — so consider wearing semi-formal or dressy casual attire that is also practical for grass and gravel. Ladies may want to avoid stilettos and opt for wedges or flats.

Q: Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

A: The ceremony will take place outdoors (weather permitting), and the reception will be held inside a barn. We encourage guests to dress comfortably for the season, and bring a light jacket or shawl for cooler evening temperatures.

Q: Is the farm accessible for guests with mobility concerns?

A: We are happy to accommodate! Both locations have accessible parking and the event spaces are level, but please reach out in advance so we can make any necessary arrangements.

Q: What kind of parking is available?

A: Both the ceremony and reception sites offer on-site parking in designated areas, and valet attendants will be available to assist. There will also be clear signage to guide you to the appropriate parking areas.

Q: Will transportation be provided between the ceremony and reception?

A: Guests will drive themselves from the ceremony to the reception. Directions will be provided at the ceremony site and are also available on our wedding website under the “Details” tab.

Q: Should we be concerned about mud or uneven ground?

A: Depending on the weather, the ground may be soft or uneven in places. We recommend sturdy footwear and suggest keeping an eye on the forecast!

Q: Can we visit the animals on the farms?

A: While we love our furry and feathered friends, we ask that guests admire them from a distance unless otherwise invited.

Q: Are children welcome?

A: We warmly welcome children to join us for the ceremony, as we would love to share this special moment with all of our loved ones, big and small. However, we kindly ask that the cocktail hour and reception remain an adult-only (18+) celebration.
