Our Wedding

Grace and Jonathan met in Boone, NC, a small town that will forever hold a big place in their hearts. If you were to say they had chemistry together you'd be right, organic chemistry specifically. This was where they would first speak because Jonathan had a crush on the cute girl behind him and her broken fingers gave him the perfect opportunity to spark a conversation. However, it would be months later when they finally went on their first date together. Sparking a relationship that night at Ale house over chicken wings and beer, a relationship that neither one expected to be so beautiful and wholesome.On March 14th, 2023, during their spring break, Jonathan drove out to see her while she was staying at the freezing beach with her friends. They talked about what their lives could look like together and that's when he and Grace started their relationship. That relationship is growing and progressing even through the two years of long distance as Jonathan has been living away in the Caribbean for medical school. Now, they invite you to celebrate as they enter the exciting next part of their lives.

The Grooms Party

In 2021 Jonathan moved into a new apartment that just so happened to come with a best friend. These two hit it off like Babe Ruth in 1927. If you hear a goat at the wedding it's probably Justin's Tourette's.

This guy is a core friend of Jonathan's. Always available for advice or just to be an ear. Many days were spent together over lagers, Canes hockey and Vietnamese pho. A wonderful friend to have around during any adventure or a cruise, though not so tech savvy.

Dylan Lancaster

Reece and Jonathan started their relationship over cars, then discovered they worked at the same hospital. A great guitar player and a better friend. A very big advocate for clean energy and electric cars.

Tobin has quickly become one of Jonathan's closest friends. Her kindness and realism coupled with being down to earth and incredibly supportive make her an amazing person to get to know.

One of Jonathan's oldest friends in North Carolina, Alex and Jonathan share a passion of tattoos and exploring local breweries.  He is single-handedly responsible for introducing Jonathan to the world of stand-up comedy. He's kinda a funny guy.

Thomas is the friend that is closer than a brother. His compassion and dedication for his friends is unmatched and couldn't be appreciated enough. He has been a dear friend for both the bride and for the groom through highs and lows. We cannot express the love we have for our friends but Thomas is especially unique in his support and encouragement.

Cassie is Grace's favorite sister. This girl is the one to always call on when you want to have a good time and a cold beer. You can always count on Cassie to make you smile when you're down and to always have your back. She is not just a sister, but a life-long friend and will forever be Grace's ride or die (possibly in a blue mini van.)

So this one time at band camp...Grace come across another trumpet player. Grace started yapping and Victoria yapped back. 10 years later, and the yapping never stopped. Victoria is Grace's ultimate best friend. Many food runs (Dunkin, Starbucks, and Cookout just to name a few), Facetime calls during class breaks, and quarter life crises and she has never left Grace's side. She's always down for a good rant session and has always been an extremely supportive friend.

Miss girl, Grace's second best friend to come out of App State (Jonathan would be the first,) is the ultimate hype man. She will lift your mood in a matter of seconds with a migos song and can always make you laugh. Grace and Alyssa met after joining the same sorority and immediately become best friends. She is incredibly reliable and has the biggest heart. Grace would be lost without this golden retriever girl.

Grace first met Dakota while working at a doggy daycare together in Boone. Dakota and her pup Kylo immediately became one of Grace's (and Mocha's) favorite people. Many pup play dates, nights out on the town, and trail walks were had while battling the workload from college. Who knows were Grace would be without Dakota. Her kindness, tender heart, and wisdom continue to inspire Grace every day and makes her more thankful to have this soul of sunshine in her life.

Grace's sorority didn't bring out just one lifelong friend but two. Kelsey is the most dedicated and loyal person you will ever come across. She is selfless and passionate. Kelsey is a one of a kind friend who will always look out for you and be there for you. Kelsey's passionate, driven, and always has a shoulder to lean on when you need it. Grace is so thankful to have a warm, bright, and loving friend like Kelsey in her life.

Carrie is one of the sweetest and kindest souls you will ever meet. She's not only an amazing friend but also Grace's favorite walking and coffee date buddy - each adventure sharing many laughs and fun conversations. Her silly, fun-loving spirit makes every moment brighter, and Grace feels so lucky to have her by her side for this special day.
