How did you meet?

We met at work in 2020! We both dispatched together at EWPD and got to know each other more and more during our endless chats at shift change.

Who made the first move?

Jonathan! He nervously sent Brittany a snapchat message that said, “are we going to do this or what?”. We had our first date playing Mini Golf at Sonny’s Place and then dinner at Bond 124 and the rest is history!

How did your story continue?

We made the bold move Jon moving into Brittany’s house in Enfield pretty quickly (considering we spent most of our time together there anyways). While we loved our cozy little home, we recently made the jump to a bigger house in Suffield! We purchased a beautiful farm house on 7 acres of land, we are eager to start a family here and create a life time of memories with our friends and family!

What are your favorite activities together?

We both bonded over our love for animals. We have been fostering dogs our entire relationship and over time have adopted some that we have fallen in love with (Stanley, Bentley & Rusty). We both enjoy traveling, whether that be big trips to Florida or a weekend in Vermont. We both have a serious love for red wine and good food. Our favorite date night’s include trying new restaurants and coming back to snuggle on the couch with the dogs.

Where are you going for your honeymoon?

We are spending two beautiful weeks in Italy! Beginning our trip on the Amalfi Coast, enjoying the beach and beautiful sunsets. Moving onto Chianti in Tuscany where we intend to drink all the wine and eat fresh made pasta. Ending our trip in Rome, sharing a romantic kiss next to the Trevi Fountain and learning some history.
