Our Wedding

St. Paddy's Day 2019

It all began on St. Paddy’s Day at Jonathan’s favorite cousin’s condo (she knows who she is), where Bianca was greeted by a charming man offering her a shot of whiskey. He told her she had a “dope” name and admired her beautiful eyes—though he kept that to himself. From that moment, the story started to write itself.

Chicago 2019

Months later, after a summer of “hard labor” in Guatemala, Jonathan finally made his way back stateside, ready to lock down his relationship with Bianca. He promptly moved into her first single-girl apartment in Logan Square with the lovely MaZ by his side —because nothing says commitment like learning to share a closet the size of a shoebox.

Charleston 2022

A few years later, Jonathan had the chance to head south to Charleston and partner with his brothers on their contracting venture, Good Neighbor Contracting. Ever the adventurer, he packed up and went to “test the waters”—both business and beach. Bianca, mastering the art of long-distance and reluctant to trade deep-dish pizza for shrimp and grits just yet, stayed behind at first. But soon, the pull of palm trees, sunshine, and Jonathan convinced her to make the leap too.

Steamboat Springs 2024

One beautiful spring day in Steamboat Springs, CO, Jonathan planned to take Bianca on a scenic overlook hike—only to find the trail still closed for the season. Undeterred, he whisked her downtown for some springtime exploring, where he surprised her on one knee. Shocked and thrilled (even if a little unamused by the detour), Bianca said yes without hesitation.

Now, with their wedding day at the Historic Rice Mill just around the corner, Jonathan and Bianca couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with all their favorite people. They’re ready to kick off this next chapter of their adventure together—expect great food, plenty of laughs, and a dance floor that won’t quit (because starting married life with a party is the only way they know how).
