Be prepared to queue but so worth it for their fabled Café de Paris sauce with thin slices of sirloin and a pile of French fries!

Last time we were in Bordeaux we got our mums to stand in line for 2 hours and they both said it was worth it....

Beautiful lunch spot that does the most unreal dishes and portion sizes!

Not far from where got engaged lies the historic town of Saint-Emillion in the heart of one of Bordeaux's most famous wine regions.

There is lots to see, eat, drink and all the wine you can drink. It feels like there's 3 or 4 wine shops on every street!

Another restaurant that we had to re-visit last time we were in Bordeaux with a great range on the menu but they definitely do not lose the quality by having such variety.

Jay says: "Get the ox cheek. It sounds unusual but it's like a steak that's been braised in red wine. Best meal I have ever eaten!!"

Where it happened. We truly enjoyed our tour and tastings. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped to make our engagement very special.

If you get time, pay them a visit...

Nice little sports bar ran by Aussie's for watching the footy etc. and has pool table plus other games.
