Questions and Answers

Can I bring anyone I want to your wedding?

Because of the limited seating for the wedding ceremony, we kindly ask you to be mindful of others. If you are interested in bringing additional guest, please contact us directly first.

Can I transfer my RSVP to someone else if I can't go?

No, because your RSVP is a personalized invitation to you. If you cannot attend, please contact us no later than February 10, 2026 so we can make other arrangements.

Can I take pictures of your wedding from my phone or camera? If so, can I post these pictures on my social media platforms?

Yes, you are free to take pictures during our wedding and reception. However, please read the information below about posting them on social media. We will have professional photographers taking our OFFICAL wedding photos, and we will post them on social media accordingly once they are ready. Because of this we are asking people NOT to post any pictures you took on social media until we have posted the official photos FIRST. Once we have posted our wedding photos, you are free to post any pictures you took.....but please ensure that any photos taken of our special day are tasteful, appropriate, and approved by us.

If there is food left at the end of the wedding reception, can I get a "to-go" plate?

Yes! If there is food available, there will be to-go containers available. However, please be mindful of others with fixing your containers. Do not be greedy.

Will there be alcohol served at the wedding reception?

No alcohol will be served at the wedding reception, and the Oklahoma State Capitol does not allow alcohol or any "intoxicating beverage" to be dispensed or consumed on their property....to include the Capitol Parking lots.

Can I bring an animal to the wedding?

According to the Oklahoma State Capitol rules, "all animals (including birds and reptiles),are prohibited in the Capitol or on a plaza." The only exception is a service dog or law enforcement canine, which must be identified properly as such.

What will the security measures be at the wedding and reception?

Because the venue is at the Oklahoma State Capitol, there will be a Law Enforcement and Capitol security presence on site. Therefore, please leave your weapons, favorite pocket knives and such in your vehicle or at home. You will go through a metal detector upon entry.

PLEASE REMEMBER.... WE are responsible for any damages that are caused at the wedding and reception. Please conduct yourself decently and orderly.

Any family member, loved one, or friend that doesn't adhere to this will be asked to leave expeditiously!
