Jonathan and I met at our unit almost 2 years ago. And we both stopped each other in our tracks. Things were not ready yet, so we got to know each other many months later, at annual training. And as so many great couples do, we started out as friends. For a long time, that's all it was. Until, as if a force of nature reached into both of our lives, and the path became clear. Eventually, we plucked up the courage to go on our first real date. And the rest is history!

We got engaged on the day we moved in together several months later. It was a surprise, and my family and friends were in on it. He took me to where we had our first date and later our first kiss. He got down on one knee. "With all this unfathomable love... Will you Marry Me?" Of course I said, "Yes!!" And about tackled him. ( I had an idea, but I had no idea how amazing and romantic it would truly be.) This Man completes me, and I him. Even in our worst moments.

The kids say we are so good together because we are basically the same person. They mean, we think so very alike. Which, we agree with, too! Hence! We are getting hitched! Plus ya know, the unfathomable love!

For those who are new to our story, we recently started the combining of two households. Between us, we have 3 kiddos; 2 dogs; 2 cats, and a snake! The whole family loves doing things together, cooking, hiking, art, playing board games, reading, going to fairs/festivals, and cuddling watching movies. That all being said, we will not be entering a registry. We will be setting up "A Honeymoon Fund", this will go towards our honeymoon we plan to take in a few months. It will likely be a QR code for a joint venmo. Also, we will be creating a QR code for everyone to send any pictures you take through to us. There will be a professional photographer, please do not follow her, or the videographer (it violates the contract.) But we still want all the candid photos, selfies and goofy videos you get!!

Finally! For those coming to the rehearsal, it's theme is "simple country wedding style". Bring your boots, and help us kick this weekend off, right!! It will be at the venue, complete with burgers and brats!

The Wedding! Is Viking/Renessaince (Yes, like the Rennessaince Festival) themed. The entire Wedding party will be dressed as Vikings. Complete with Weaponry. Including parents. If you wish to partake, please feel free to do so!! Dress like a Viking, a fairy, a renessaince princess, simple/elegant Halloween (we like scary stuff, but there will be lots of kids, so please don't be (super) scary, or gory!), country style (boots, jeans and a nice shirt or dress), or just whatever YOU are comfortable in! (Please no PJS! LOL!!) The Venue is OUTSIDE, and it will be fall, there are two barns, but a lot of time will be spent outside in gravel or grass, and it is slated to be in the 50s to 60s.
