Alexa and Jonathan met for the first time at UPS 3 years ago. Little did they know that 3 years later they would be sitting together on the couch writing their story and getting ready to be married.

Jonathan noticed Alexa at UPS after he was temporarily laid off from his construction job and returned to be a supervisor (shout out the Sorensens haha! Never been happier about running out of work.) Jonathan knew he wanted to ask Alexa out the first time when he saw her and talked to her again. However, there was one problem, he was her supervisor. He would have felt bad asking her to date him while he was still her boss. So once he figured out he was going to get laid off from UPS he decided he would make his super smooth and totally impossible to misunderstand move. So he gathered his courage and walked into her trailer and asked if shed like to go to the river with him. She apparently thought he was joking and laughed. Suffering that catastrophic defeat he figured he would regroup and try again. After another misunderstood attempt to get her to go out with him things were looking bleak. He was down to his last few days at UPS and decided in a last ditch effort to send her a text and asked if she wanted to get coffee with him and to his surprise she said yes. From there its been lots of adventures, camping trips, hikes, rivers, coffee shops, nice dinners their shared love of beer and every memory in between. They have all been completed by the companionship and love they share. There’s so much more to their story and are glad that you all are showing up to celebrate this milestone with them.
