No, I am totally kidding.

Picture this:

Nancy is working (imagine that!) an overnight at an assisted living unit. I have currently been on a dating website (zoosk.com...btw, yes I know thats cheezy...but ...it is..what it is...lol). I have some down time and I'm checking my dating profile and checking out some people in the area.

Then, as I scroll by all the losers, this one picture catches my eye. The picture of his eyes (I won't lie, they still get me everytime I look at him)...and so I check out his profile and he talks about video games. So, I am thinking that well...I may not be such an updated gamer, but I still play the classics and I see a prompt on the bottom and I'm unsure of sending it and since it's late and I am like what the heck.

Then we get to our first date...June 16th, 2018...I am coming off an overnight shift which got done @ 6 a.m. I have just enough time to squeeze a nap in before I meet up with Jonathan at 11 at Benson's in Walker. So, I get there at 11 a.m. and he still hasn't shown up. So, I get a text saying he's going to be late. (It was really down poring...here is where the rain comes in) I won't lie, I thought that it was one of those texts that he'll be late and then never show. BUT---he proved me wrong. He was ten minutes late (I still give him crap about it) and we sat down and had lunch. I asked to see his pictures of his recent trip to Mackinac Island with his kids. Then we went walking around Walker til about 2 p.m. I had to leave because I had another overnight shift and I had to get a little sleep before work.

So, here we are 7 years later, FINALLY (and I know some of you are saying that so I said it for you!) getting married! LOL!! A lot has happened, and many fun memories made!
