Unless you have a plus one identified on your invitation, there will not be any plus ones included with your personal invite. If you have a specific question about this, you can always ask the bride or groom!

There are two hotels listed in our "Accommodations" tab. The hotels are actually located right next to one another and share a parking lot, so they are the same distance from the venue. We booked two different blocks at two different hotels to make sure that we had enough rooms for everyone attending.

There will be a shuttle to transfer guests from both the Hampton Inn and the Fairfield Inn to the venue before the ceremony, as well as take guests back to the hotels after the reception ends. The shuttle will be available to pick up guests before the ceremony in between the parking lots of the two hotels and drop off guests after the reception in the same spot. There are 24 seats available per shuttle, so make sure you are there to get a spot! PICKUP TIMES BEFORE CEREMONY: 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm DROP OFF TIMES AFTER RECEPTION: 10:00 pm, 10:30 pm, and 11:00 pm The shuttle will be LEAVING THE HOTELS at this time. If you are not on the bus at these times, you will have to find other transportation. Of course, you can also provide your own transportation to and from the venue if you prefer. There is lots of free parking available at Solitude Links.

Cocktail!

There are two options: The Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport or the Flint Bishop International Airport. The Detroit Airport is around 1.5 hours from Solitude Links, and the Flint airport is 1 hour from Solitude Links. The Detroit airport is a major hub, so you will not have a problem flying into this airport from any airline. The Flint airport is much smaller and only has a small number of airlines that fly into it, so it might be more difficult to find a flight into this airport if you are specific about which airline you want to fly with.

If the weather permits, the ceremony will take place outside with chairs on the lawn. It should be less than an hour, but it is August in Michigan, so please dress accordingly! The reception will be indoors with air conditioning, so keep this in mind as well.
