Our Wedding

Back in September of 2021, Jordan and Wes each reluctantly agreed to go on a cruise. Wes had recently moved to Maryland, and Jordan was living just a few hours north in Pennsylvania. Wes' parents insisted on a much-needed vacation for him, and Jordan's grandparents insisted on taking her to follow through on a graduation present.With only three days left of the vacation, Jordan (enjoying the sun in the hot tub) caught Wes' eye. After realizing he was foolish to keep walking, he doubled back, accompanied by his buddy Tyler, only to find an empty hot tub. While sulking in the missed opportunity, Wes elected to head to the ping pong tables for a match instead. Fortunately for Wes, there Jordan was with her sister, Alyssa, playing on the adjacent tables.Wes and Tyler began playing and attempted to drum up conversation with the ladies only to be met with looks of annoyance by a very uninterested Jordan. For some unknown reason, the ladies agreed to join that obnoxious duo for a 2v2 game.Not long into the 2v2, the party decided to gather cups from the water station and switch to a game of cup pong (on the top deck of a cruise ship - which drew the attention of several employees wanting to play and several security guards checking to make sure we weren't playing with alcohol). With Tyler's help, Wes was able to pivot into a one-on-one game against Jordan with a bet that the loser owed the winner 3 shots. Wes, being the incredibly intelligent person that he is, allowed her to win, knowing that would ensure additional time with Jordan for him to pay up on the bet.Following the close (but intentional) loss, Jordan ordered a "surprise me", which is a very brave choice for someone who is very particular about tastes. Wes quickly realized that the bartender's recommendation of a lemon drop couldn't have been a worse decision as Jordan choked on the drink and shouted, "YOU GOT LEMON!?" (strike one).After this, Wes wasn't sure if she'd bother with the two more shots owed to her but kept his eyes peeled for her everywhere he went. It wasn't until a few meetings later that Wes very bravely asked for a phone number. Jordan agreed and put it in his phone. They were close enough to land at this point that they had cell service, so Wes decided to make sure the number was entered correctly. He dialed as she was walking away, and she quickly turned and shouted, "What? did you think I gave you a fake number!?"They hung out a few more times thinking that they only had a few days left before vacation was over and they'd return to their separate lives. On the final night of the cruise, before going to their respective rooms, Wes offered to share a bottle of champagne on the balcony as he was not ready for a permanent goodbye. Somewhere in the midst of the effortless conversation, Jordan and Wes realized that Croydon, PA and Salisbury, MD were not far enough apart to keep them from seeing each other again.They went their separate ways following the cruise, but it took less than a month for Wes to set up a date at a point mid-way between the two. Wes planned out a nice dinner for the two at a steakhouse, and only after being handed the menus did Wes remember Jordan mentioning on the cruise that she did not prefer red meat (strike two). Despite the poor choice in restaurant, they stayed and had an amazing time together.The visits back and forth began and became much more frequent until the two decided that life would be much better without the distance. Jordan moved in with Peaches, and Carson questioned if allowed a bunch of girls into the house was the right move at first. He quickly fell in love with his new sibling as they spent all of their time together and his lonely days in the house were gone.Although still on strike two, Wes knew in a very short time that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Jordan by his side, so he asked Jordan to be his wife in December of 2023 (before he could hit strike three). For anyone that may not know, while planning their wedding, the couple decided to have a private and intimate ceremony on April 26th of 2024 with a large celebration with friends and family to follow.The originally scheduled celebration date of April 26, 2025, was delayed as the couple welcomed their greatest blessing yet, Teagan Rae Marsh, on July 9th, 2025. They are absolutely in love with her and adjusting well. She has changed Wes and Jordan's lives for the better, but Mom and Dad are ready to get the party back on schedule!They are looking forward to finally celebrating their love on April 25th of 2026 with everyone invited who has shaped them as individuals and as a couple!!
