As true millennials, Jordan and Rob met online. After some trials and tribulations while searching for the right one, this was an instant connection.
In the early days, they didn't let much dissuade them from this truth. Rob's car broke down on the way to their third date and Jordan waited for him just to smoke him at mini golf. Jordan invited Rob to her birthday drinks less than a month in, and Rob attended and met her mother for the first time. They took a trip to Key West and barhopped around Duval Street. Talk about moving fast.
But they also took their time to get to know one another. Did Jordan like dogs? Did Rob like to spend summer weekends at the beach? Could Jordan keep up? Could Rob tolerate 52 houseplants? Yes, yes, yes, and yes. Eventually those three little words got said.
Three years in after countless trips between Brighton and Quincy, they moved in together in Quincy (with houseplants and dog in tow). This solidified their love. The little things about living together became inside jokes and a daily routine. They even made their first friends as a couple.
After spending every sunny day off at the beach, Rob planned for one to be a little different. Despite thunderstorms threatening to derail the day, Rob proposed. Jordan said yes too quickly and will never live it down. She maintains that she was too happy to wait.
The rest is history EXCEPT for our wedding April 25, 2025. Hydrate, stretch, take a nap beforehand - it will be time to party!
