Our story is definitely one of God’s grace and faithfulness. I truly am marrying the man of my dreams. If you know Jordan, you love Jordan, and he loves you back deeply.
Jordan and I first met last January (2024) at a conference that my brother in law, Jake, invited us to. After the conference, I shared with my sister, Jenna, that I had a crush on Jordan…so she told Jake..and Jake quickly texted Jordan…and Jordan texted me to ask me out on a date and I said YES! After only one week of meeting one another in person, Jordan and I went on two dates, and we were officially dating on January 10th, 2024. It definitely was a whirlwind, but we were both excited. I left for Virginia (to continue with my masters degree) a day after we started dating, and we started our long distance relationship. We both agreed to communicate and keep Christ first:) 5 months of long-distance had nothing on us, I came home for summer break and we enjoyed an amazing summer together before I went back to Virginia in the fall. Once again, we communicated well, kept Christ at the center, and then I came home for an extended break around Thanksgiving, not realizing that Jordan had been planning to propose on December 20th for MONTHS! He got down on one knee, I said absolutely yes and now we get to look forward to the rest of our lives together.
Obviously this is a very short version of our story, but I am so thankful God brought Jordan into my life. He is my best friend, and someone I cannot wait to do life with. We are incredibly grateful to have all our favorite people in one place on our wedding day and celebrate God’s faithfulness in our lives. You all have made a great impact on our story, and we can’t imagine this day without you! See you on October 10th!;)
