Shops at Legacy in Plano (about 25 minutes from the wedding venue) is a great place for restaurants, bars, and shops. There are two sides of the Shops at Legacy area, which are referred to as East and West with the Dallas North Tollway (Highway) as the divider. On the East side, there are some restaurants, a movie theater, and a small lake. On the West side, there are some nicer restaurants and higher profile shops.

Just past the Shops at Legacy area (about 30 minutes from the wedding venue) is one of the newest areas in North Texas: Grandscape. Here you'll find restaurants, giant department stores (Scheels, Nebraska Furniture, etc. ), and plenty of activities ranging from Indoor Go Carts to an interactive Jurassic Park experience.

Of course we recommend that you also check out Downtown Dallas if time permits (it's about 50 minutes from the wedding venue). Dallas has an abundance of activities and places to check out; for example the Perot Museum of Nature and Science or the historic downtown district that includes Dealy Plaza and Reunion Tower.
