Taylor and Jo crossed paths on July 2, 2022 during a night out on Franklin Street.


After Jo pretended to watch some game on the TV near Taylor’s table and Taylor called Jo over by the wrong name the two hit it off. That night Taylor was already asking their friends if they were going to make it to their future wedding. Taylor asked Jo out on a coffee date that next week and the two ended up closing the bars down that morning. On Taylor’s 29th birthday, a year after meeting, Taylor popped the question at Jo’s family home - and Jo said yes! They've since moved into their first home together with their two cats, Zuri & Elsa.


They are looking forward to starting this new chapter together as Mr. & Mrs. Mathis and cannot wait to celebrate with all of their favorite people.
