The Bison Bound Beginning

It all started on August 20th, 2020, a day when Harding University seemed to buzz with excitement despite the global chaos around them. Jordan had just turned eighteen, and to celebrate, she and a few of her closest friends had decided to attend a Bison Bound event, which turned into an adventure that marked the start of the school year. Little did Jordan know, this birthday would become more than just another marker on the calendar. This was the day Isaac and Jordan first met. They struck up a casual conversation, and from there, the connection only deepened.

A Year of Friendship

Over the next year, our bond grew strong, even if we were unsure of exactly what it was. We became fast friends, supporting each other through the ups and downs of college life. Jordan was adjusting to the independence of school and college softball, while Isaac worked hard to balance his academic responsibilities with his passion for sports and outdoor activities. Though there were moments when we thought they might be developing feelings beyond friendship, neither of us wanted to risk ruining the closeness we’d built. But as the days turned into months, it became increasingly clear: we had become more than just friends.

August 15th, 2021 — A New Chapter

By the time August 15th, 2021, came around, we both realized that our feelings for each other were undeniable. We’d spent so much time together—laughing, supporting, pushing one another to grow—that it only felt natural to take the next step. And just like that, our friendship evolved into something deeper. From that day forward, we were inseparable—not just partners in adventure, but in life.

A Morning to Remember

On September 21, 2024, Isaac decided to make one of the biggest decisions of his life. Early that morning, he took Jordan to the Little Red River, where they had spent so many peaceful moments. Isaac reached into his fly bag and pulled out a ring. He looked at Jordan, his eyes full of love and anticipation. Tears welled in Jordan’s eyes as she saw Isaac, her heart swelling with love. And just like that, in the river's quiet beauty at sunrise, they promised to spend forever together.

The Future Awaits

The months are flying by as we plan our wedding. November 24, 2025, became a day we couldn’t wait for—the day we would officially begin our forever.

After the wedding, Jordan and Isaac plan to move to Texas, where they will begin the next chapter of their lives. Isaac will pursue his dream of becoming a firefighter, and Jordan will continue her studies, determined to graduate and help others as an occupational therapist.
