How They Met:

Tyler and Jordan have grown up together. They attended kindergarten through high school together. When college rolled around, they went separate ways, but saw each other often as he came to visit IUP or they met up when she was home in Kittanning. Eventually, Tyler ended up enrolling at IUP as well as they finished out their Bachelor's degrees there. They were on and off through high school, but they did not officially date until April 2014. They eventually moved to Virginia in 2016 and have lived there ever since!

Their Proposal Story:

Jordan came home one evening in February (2/24/22) after a VERY stressful day at work when she was employed with her last company. Tyler greeted her at the door cheerfully - but Jordan thought nothing of it. Instead, she ended up ranting about work related things for 45 minutes (literally), all while Tyler stood there with the ring in his pocket, sweaty palms and all, and Jordan was completely oblivious. Finally, Jordan turned her back for a second and when she turned back around, there Tyler was on one knee asking her to marry him. Tyler told Jordan: "I was waiting for a good time to interrupt you since you wouldn't shut the hell up" (LOL).
