Jordan and Dan met during the heat of COVID 19. Because of this pandemic, it required the two to try dating a little differently. Both downloaded the dating app Hinge and matched! Their first date was supposed to be at a Mexican restaurant to get tacos for Dan and fresh made table-side guacamole for Jordan. This plan had to be shifted around a bit and they ended up at a restaurant next door called Local On The Square. It was at local that Dan and Jordan first laid eyes on one another both wearing facemasks. They bonded over their green thumbs, their jobs, and their desire to move out of Memphis! Dan still remembers Jordan's laugh from that first night. After this date, their next was at a dog park to introduce Chloe (Jordan's German Shepard) and Stella (Dan's Chocolate Lab) to one another. The dogs also loved one another, even though they were getting dirty and Chloe somehow getting a fishing hook stuck in her fur. They soon had many more dates at this park where Stella taught Chloe to swim & Chloe taught Stella to fetch. 


Over the years, Jordan and Dan have met each others families and gone on many trips together. They both are very busy so they each look forward to the weekends where they can spend more time together. They enjoy having brunch on Sundays, walking their dogs, going to festivals, gardening and picking fruit together.
