Allen and Jordan met while teaching at Wellborn Middle School in College Station. Allen teaches Science, and Jordan teaches English. Naturally, their classrooms were right down the hallway from each other. One night, Jordan went to a Taylor Swift Trivia night with some of her co-workers (one of them, Kimmie, happened to grow up with Allen's older siblings). Jordan mentioned that some of her students had seen her and Allen talking in the hallway and asked if they were dating (this was only their second time talking to each other—ever). With all her excitement, Kimmie immediately said, "YES! I have to make this happen!"

After many "after-school hangouts" at RX Pizza, Kimmie eventually took Allen and Jordan to Costco after one of those RX nights to hang out and walk around, giving them an excuse to be alone together, and because they had never been to Costco before, haha! The rest is history!
