You will need to fly into PDX, and choose a transportation method from the airport to your hotel.
You are more than welcome to stay in Portland or in Cascade Locks.
Columbia Gorge Express
The Columbia Gorge Express is a transit bus that runs from Portland to Cascade Locks and back, multiple times a day, every day of the week. You can buy tickets for for $10 a day.
Uber, Lyft, Taxi Service
You can also rent a car, Uber, Lyft, or use a taxi service to get to Cascade Locks.
Cascade Locks is about a 45 minute drive from PDX.
