Jordan and Erica met in the contemporary way: swiping right on Tinder in 2017. Actually, Erica remembers seeing Jordan at the movie theater where she worked before they officially met – she even opened their first conversation by asking how he liked his movie. Their first date was at a coffee shop in Hanover, NH; many more dates followed this one, and they have been together ever since.

Together Jordan and Erica have enjoyed visiting Maine, attending many concerts and movies, playing disc golf, becoming cat parents, and spending time with their friends and family.

Though they had planned and discussed their future together, the proposal itself was entirely spontaneous. While on their way to rendezvous with Jordan's parents after a family dinner, they decided to make their future official. Much to Jordan’s parents’ surprise and excitement ("When did this happen?! We just saw you!"), Jordan asked for his grandmother's ring, knelt on one knee, and proposed.

We can't wait to celebrate amongst family and friends at our wedding in August!
