We met in 2016 on a college band trip. Jordan was completely smitten with Kylie, while she was completely oblivious! Our paths wouldn’t cross again until Spring Term when we had a class together. Jordan mustered up the courage to ask Kylie out with a note she wrote full of music based puns. Kylie was touched by such a sweet gesture and immediately said yes!

Over the years we’ve loved exploring the Oregon Coast. Our favorite beaches are Crescent Beach, Short Sand Beach, and Tunnel Beach.

Back in 2019 we adopted our cat, Cricket! Whether she's shredding up some cardboard, splashing around in her water bowl, or snuggling up with us in bed Cricket has been a huge source of joy in our lives.

Along with trips to the beach we love going camping, paddleboarding, hiking, and playing soccer. We also enjoy getting in touch with our nerdy side by playing Dungeon's & Dragons with our friends.

Some may know that our first ever camping trip was a bit of a disaster. We got to our campsite late, the rain was blowing sideways, Kylie got hypothermia, and our tent flooded! But we kept our cool and worked together to make the most of a bad situation.

After eight years of working together through tough situations like stressful school semesters, career changes, moving in together, and several travel mishaps our love and commitment to each other has only grown.

Back in May of 2024 we celebrated our seventh anniversary in the same location as our first camping trip, Cape Lookout. Unlike our first venture out there, everything went perfectly! We hiked out to the tip of the Cape Trail to watch the sunset. Now it was Kylie's turn to muster up her courage. Much like Jordan seven years ago, Kylie wrote down a heartfelt message asking Jordan to marry her. And much like Kylie all those years ago, Jordan was touched by her words and said YES!
