Jordan and Conor met back in 2017. Jordan went in for a shift at work. At the time, she worked for a catering company and that day's event was a wedding rehearsal dinner. The next day, Jordan also worked the wedding. That wedding just so happened to be Conor's sister, Amber's wedding. Jordan and Conor kept an eye on each other all night before Conor worked up the courage to ask for her number.
Jordan and Conor hung out as friends for about 3 months before they officially started dating on January 10th, 2018.
They then continued to make the drive back and forth each week between Mentor and Medina for about 5 years. In that time, they graduated college, started their careers and celebrated all the milestones in-between.
Jordan and Conor were tired of only seeing each other on the weekends and driving back and forth. They decided to build a house and move in together in August of 2022. They were excited to make their own traditions and create a space of their own.
Exactly 6 years to the day they met, Conor tricked Jordan into thinking he won tickets to the Cleveland Botanical Gardens in a work raffle. (This is not uncommon as Conor would win tickets to the Guardians and Cavs games often). They showed up, walked around and looked at the flowers trying to hurry through the outside displays before it started to rain. As they were crossing a bridge, Conor proposed to Jordan with a photographer ready to capture the moment. He then tricked Jordan again into thinking they were going to crash her parents dinner date at a local restaurant they go to often. When they showed up, Conor had planned for all their closest family and friends to be waiting to celebrate with them.
They are now excited to continue to grow and learn as they spend the rest of their lives together!
