Q + A

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by March 1st, 2026.

How do I RSVP?

Please visit the RSVP page and enter your full name as it appears on your invitation. If you were given a plus one or are including children, you will be prompted to enter their names. If you will not be bringing a plus one, simply select “decline,” and only your RSVP will be recorded.

What if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! Please ensure you RSVP as “not attending” so we may have an accurate guest count and plan accordingly.

Will you have a wedding registry?

Yes! We are fortunate to already have a home full of everything we need. In lieu of traditional gifts, we’ve created a cash fund to help us celebrate our honeymoon and future together. You can find our registry under the Registry tab on the website.

Where will the wedding be held?

Our ceremony and reception will both be held at Gruene Estate in New Braunfels, Texas. The venue’s open-air chapel and reception pavilion are both within short walking distance once you park.

Is there parking available near the wedding venue?

Yes, there is free parking on site at the wedding venue. There will be signage up directing guests to the parking lot.

Can I bring a plus-one?

We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will appear under your name when you RSVP.

What's the dress code?

We want you to feel comfortable at our wedding! We kindly ask that guests dress in semi-formal or dressy casual attire. Think dressy pantsuits, stylish separates (blouse/skirt or pants, etc…) or polished dresses for the ladies and button-up shirts with dress trousers, chinos, or suits are great choices for the gentlemen. To maintain a cohesive look for our special day, we do ask that you please refrain from wearing jeans.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding will be held in an open air chapel and the reception, which will be held on the same property, will be in a covered pavilion.

What will the weather be like?

This is Texas—we can promise it’ll be memorable! Typically in April, you can expect warm, breezy spring weather. The venue is mostly open-air, so we encourage lightweight fabrics and comfortable shoes.

Are kids allowed?

Yes! Children are welcome, and you’ll see a space to include them when you RSVP. We do ask that all kiddos be closely supervised throughout the evening. There will be an open fire pit and alcohol on the premises, so their safety is very important to us. That said, please also feel free to enjoy a child-free night out!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will start at 5PM. Please plan to arrive by 4:30. Arriving early before the ceremony starts will allow plenty of time to park and find your seat comfortably.

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that our ceremony stays unplugged and phones/cameras are put away. We have hired an AMAZING photographer & videographer to capture our special day! We can't wait to take photos with you during the reception! Please also try out the Photo Booth to take extra fun photos during our reception.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you.

What food will be at the reception?

We will be having buffet style food catered from Chuy’s which will include beef and chicken fajitas for dinner. There will also be chicken flautas and cheese quesadillas served during cocktail hour. If you have any food restrictions, please ensure you indicate them when you RSVP. We will try to accommodate as best we can!

Should I get an Uber or Lyft?

If you plan on drinking—we’ll have an open bar—we strongly encourage using Uber, Lyft, or arranging a safe ride. Pickup at the venue is easy, and we want everyone to enjoy the night and get home safely.
