Our story began in March of 2020 while attending college at The University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. We had mutual friends through Facebook and simply put, Tyler sent me a message! The beginning of our relationship started right before the pandemic hit. It was challenging in the beginning as we didnt know how to navigate the dating world, when we were told to stay in and isolate from others. Tyler and I decided we wanted to take the risks and thats what made our relationship become so special. It felt like we had known each other our whole lives! During that time we had to get creative and make the most of what we had while having to stay indoors. It was special though because we didnt have the pressure of going and doing to spend time together and we really got to know each other! My most favorite dates were the times during the pandemic when we got creative and made fun with what we had! For insight, one of our dates included Tyler being blind folded while making an apple pie, and I guided his hands without being able to speak. It was so fun and we had so many good laughs! We were able to create so many memories that first year of dating and I believe thats what made our bond grow so quick. Weve been best friends ever since! The last few years have been nothing but a blast. We both have finished our degrees, started our lives in the work force, been to many bucket list concerts, and have taken many roadtrips together. We also love to enjoy the little moments that this life offers us, whether that’s a nice nature walk or a view of a pretty sunset. These things seem much more significant when I get to do them with my best friend! Also in this last year we got our girl Millie who has made this life even more extravagant. She is our pride and joy and we couldn’t imagine our life without her! We are so excited to finally be married and see our future unfold!
