If you come in a little early, here are some things to enjoy during your labor day weekend

There are a lot of restaurants and shops downtown on Washington Avenue, Austin Avenue and Franklin Avenue

Large park located on the Brazos River. There are lots of walking trails, an overlook called "Lovers Leap" and the Cameron Park Zoo inside. It backs up to the Waco Suspension Bridge, which is near Franklin and Austin Avenue
