Our love story began in the hallways of James B. Conant High School, where Jordan and I quickly became best friends after a trip to Six Flags Great America. I still remember waiting by her locker after Math, or driving her home after school so I could spend a few more minutes with her. Little did we know, those small moments would lay the foundation for a lifetime of love.
After much discussion over where we would go to college as our acceptance letters rolled in, we both decided to attend the University of Illinois. Our first date at the Champaign Culver's was the start of a new chapter, filled with countless walks, barn dances, semi-formals, and late-night runs to Dave's Dogs. Even when we were miles apart, with me studying in Milan and Jordan in Barcelona, we made it a priority to visit each other. Those weekends are very happy memories for us.
After college, we moved to Chicago, living with friends in neighborhoods including Lake View, Lincoln Park, Gold Coast, and West Loop. We cooked together, went to concerts, vacationed, and after a birthday trip for Jordan to Miami in 2020, decided to trade the harsh Chicago winters for a new chapter in the warmth of Fort Lauderdale. Here, we've found new adventures in scuba diving, spending time on boats, and exploring South Florida. The past couple years, we have traveled to amazing places like the Caribbean, Costa Rica, French Riviera, and Banff with our best friends.
While our journey has been filled with so much adventure and change, aside from each other, the one constant has been the people who love and support us. From our parents teaching us what a supportive, loving partnership looks like, to my friends who never minded Jordan being a part of the crew, her cousins who welcomed me with open arms, and so many more, our relationship would not have been possible without all of your love and support. We are honored to have had each of you been a part of our love story and are so excited to celebrate with you!
