The story of US:

We met in the summer of 2019. Our first line of communication came about through the dating app Bumble with us living 2 hours away from each other. Jasmine was in her last semester of graduate school at Southern Illinois University of Carbondale and Jordan was living and working in O'Fallon, IL. After engaging in many back and forth text mesages and realizing we wanted to meet in person, we decided to have our first date in St. Louis, since Jasmine would be in town.

Since that first date, we hit it off and finding out we shared many things in common, such as our love for mexican food & margaritas and we both love sports. We went on many more dates, with Jordan coming to visit Jasmine in Carbondale (which is an AWFUL drive) and helping Jasmine move from Carbondale and temporarily moving her things into his place. During this time, we hung out more and more and loved being around each other. Jordan officially asked me to be his girlfriend on August 28, 2019.

Fast forward to the FUTURE... Jasmine ended up finding a job in O'fallon, IL, then we moved in with one another at the start of the pandemic in 2020. We made it through without killing each other and not breaking up through that crazy period in 2020. We decided to move into another apartment and eventually got a puppy (Our Cooper)! Jordan proposed on Valentines day weekend and thinking about the future, we decided we wanted to build a house in St. Charles, MO and continue the next chapter in our lives.

Alot of things have changed in our 5 years of dating but our love for each other has never wavered. We are soo excited to be getting married in a few months and ready to celebrate with the people we love!
