After Alabama, Luis and I were at an all time high. More in love than ever before. And we've discovered that the more time we spend together, the more in love we fall. The higher we go!

Luis had been plotting, unbeknownst to me, to ask me to marry him. He had a secret conversation with our friends and he picked out a ring that was custom made just for me.

My birthday was approaching, and he wanted everything to align perfectly. The ring was special ordered from Australia, and it got caught up in the shipping process. But that didn't stop us from having an incredible birthday celebration. All of our friends showed up and we had a snowy fun time in the Big Bear mountains.

After the birthday trip, the ring arrived and Luis popped the question. As is the case with all that we do, Luis and I just had a conversation about it. He said, "I have to ask you something. Do you want to marry me?"

I didn't pause a second before I said, "YES!!!!!!"
