This Memphis icon, opened in 1869, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is world-famous for its five resident ducks, who march daily through the lobby at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

You've heard the music, now see the place Elvis called home. Explore the beautiful mansion, walk the gardens where he found peace, tour the aircraft that he traveled on from show to show, and encounter Elvis Presley's Memphis entertainment complex for an unforgettable experience featuring legendary costumes, artifacts, and personal mementos from Elvis and his family. We recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time.

Graceland

Visit the historic Peabody Hotel and watch the Peabody Duck March daily at 11 am and 5 pm daily. The ducks march on their red carpet from the indoor Peabody fountain to the elevator where they return to their Royal Duck Palace on the Peabody rooftop. We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to the Duck March as crowds often form. Also, the ducks' Royal Duck Palace on the Peabody Rooftop is open for visitation from 11AM to 6PM daily, weather permitting.

Inside the expansive 535,000-square-foot pyramid you will find an immersive retail experience, Mississippi Terrace, The Lookout at the Pyramid, and Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill. Ride the world’s tallest freestanding elevator 28 stories to the top of the Memphis Pyramid and find yourself in The Lookout with glass flooring and a panoramic view of Memphis. The Mississippi Terrace is the ultimate entertainment patio&nbsp;with two fire pits, over-sized furniture, a full bar, high top tables and a stage for live music.&nbsp;Fish feeding shows are at 10:00 am daily.

The famous Beale Street is filled with bars. Personally, we recommend Silky O'Sullivans and Alfred's.Silky O'Sullivans is the Irish dueling piano bar featuring not only dueling pianos, but live goats. Since Silky himself is often in the house, usually perched on a stool, you can ask him to tell you the goat tale. In the warmer months, Silky's has the best patio on Beale, and the people watching is truly hilarious as the night goes on.Across the way, another great patio - this one roof-top- can be found at Alfred's, where a good cover band takes over on the weekend nights, followed by a D.J. after hours.

Shelby Farms Park contains 4,500 acres of forrest, trails, lakes, and greenery. Enjoy a walk around the lake, schedule horseback riding, sign up for the high ropes course, or rent a bike. There is something fun to do for everyone, even your canine cuties! As you can see, this is one of Isabelle's favorite places.

Take a photo with the Memphis sign and walk along a trail that depicts the Mississippi river. Paid parking is available on Mud Island, and is the easiest form of transportation to the park.

Walk across the Mississippi river from the Tennessee state border to the Arkansas state border. Bike rental stations are also available. Big River Crossing is located on Virginia Avenue West, just off Channel 3 Drive.

We highly recommend the smoked sausage, wet ribs, and pulled pork. Their BBQ nachos are one of a kind!

In 1948, Charlie Vergos cleaned out a basement below his diner, discovered a coal chute, and started a legend. Today, several thousand people on an average Saturday night pour into this basement and sink their teeth into a slab of what makes Memphis, well, Memphis. We recommend the sausage and cheese plate and dry rub ribs.

Many people will tell you that "Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken" is one of the best (and most popular) fried chicken restaurants in the United States. They currently have over 30 locations with many of them in the South. Their original location, in Mason, TN is still standing to this day.

The menu focuses on&nbsp;ramen and dumplings, with cuisine taking inspiration from a lot of different parts of Asian rather than a single country or style. Everything is made from scratch and&nbsp;in-house including the ramen noodles. There are vegan- and vegetarian-friendly options. We recommend the shrimp dumplings, coco curry noodles, and chicken baby don. Their rotating flavors of Taiyaki ice cream are served in a fish shaped waffle cone!

This hip and trendy restaurant in the Cooper-Young district of midtown Memphis&nbsp;conjures up images of a ‘50s-style beauty shop, formerly Priscilla Presley’s curl-and-dye spot. It’s a camp wonderland where the façade is Jetsons-era Vitrolite, and&nbsp;choice seating is offered beneath hooded Belvedere hair dryers. Also open for brunch! The Majestic No. 1 Theatre opened on Main Street in 1913 and entertained Memphians for more than 30 years. Today, The Majestic Grille honors the legacy of its building by recreating the cinematic splendor of the dawn of the silver screen, all within the comforts of a local, neighborhood restaurant.
