Only a 40-minute drive from our venue, Indiana Dunes is a great place to visit and start your summer off right. The National Park is comprised of more than 15,000 acres of dunes, oak savannas, swamps, bogs, marshes, prairies, rivers and forests, offering a wide variety of activities year-round.

If you are desiring to relive part of your childhood, taste something sweet, or keep the kids entertained, with Albanese Candy Factor you might be in for a treat. Try some of their famous gummy bears and chocolates while staying local. Albanese is only a 27-minute drive from our venue so go check them out for a treat.

If you would like to return to the past, spend time outdoors, and visit and experience some of the most crucial moments in Catholicism, the Shrine of Christ's Passion is a great place to do just that. Located only 15 minutes from our venue, the Shrine is an interactive, half-mile path featuring 40 life-size bronze statues depicting the Stations of the Cross. The Shrine in St. John also includes a display of Moses at Mount Sinai holding the Ten Commandments and a 10,000 sq. ft. gift shop.

Desiring to see more of the beauty of nature? Check out the Friendship Botanic Gardens. These gardens are located an hour from our venue.

The gardens opened to the public in 1936, originally named International Friendship Gardens, with fourteen ethnic gardens, a Symphony Theater and Theater of Nations. The gardens have received many royal gifts including 200,000 tulips from the Netherlands' Queen Wilhelmina, plants and a Royal Gardener from the King of England and roses from the King of Persia.
