The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal attire. Please no jeans!

Both the ceremony and reception will be at Grand River Hall in Freeport, Illinois. The reception will begin following the ceremonies conclusion.

They will both be indoors. The ceremony will take place to the left after you get off the elevator. Then the reception is in a just a 10 second walk away. There will be an upstairs rooftop location to take your drink and have a smoke if you are a smoker. Who knows what the weather will be like in Illinois in November though. Its a pretty view though!

Of Course! There will be a buffet with 2 main choices, cheesy potatoes of course! (It's a Schmalen must have!) Salad, rolls, and a veggie side.

There will be some drinks available at no charge but it will be a cash bar for the most part.

Yes! There is a parking lot right next to the venue and street parking. We will not be providing transportation since all festivities are in one location and the hotel we are staying at is .4 miles away.

There will be instructions for RSVP and a number listed for those included in your party on the invition.

To be honest I haven't figured out flowers yet so this is too be determined.

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag # (Too be determined) so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
