Ryan and Jordan met at St. Cloud State University in 2015 when they were both playing hockey. During college, Ryan and Jordan were nothing more than friends. Some years go by and Jordan ended up at a small graduate school in Chicago and became friends with another fellow hockey player. This dear friend is Ryan's best friend! Long story short, Ryan and Jordan reconnected and this time they were ready for something more and the rest is history! Fun Facts:-Ryan and Jordan both played for the Chicago Young Americans (CYA) growing up, but never knew each other.-Ryan and Jordan had the same number while playing at CYA.-They have the same favorite numbers of 9 and 16.

The room cut off date for the group rate is Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Harrah’s Joliet Casino & Hotel

Shuttle Info 

There will be two 16 seater shuttles to take guests to the venue starting at 3:30 and one 16 seater for after the reception to take guests back starting at 10pm. If you do drive, you can leave your car at the venue overnight, free of charge. We highly encourage all guests to take advantage of the shuttle! The venue and hotel are 0.7 miles from each other.

Duration: 1-2 hours "Opened in 1858, just six years after the incorporation of the City of Joliet, the Illinois State Penitentiary, Joliet, now known simply as the “Old Joliet Prison,” has – for better or worse been – synonymous with the City of Joliet for nearly its entire history. The Prison is probably best known today for its most popular, albeit fictional inmate – “Joliet Jake” Blues from the 1980 film “The Blues Brothers.” Since then, the Prison has made a number of appearances in films in television, including as the character of “Fox River State Penitentiary” in the critically acclaimed Fox series “Prison Break,” and in smaller scenes in Derailed, Let’s Go to Prison, and recently, Empire."
