It all started back in 2016 during our freshman year at Fontbonne University. We were both living in the freshman dorms, and from the moment we first spoke, something just clicked. There was no awkwardness, no searching for things to talk about—it was easy, immediate, and felt like we had known each other forever.

We didn't need a fancy "first date" because we were instantly the best of friends, doing everything together from day one. As we often say, we were "Best friends first," and that solid foundation meant that after a year of inseparable friendship, our relationship simply and naturally evolved into something more. Now, nine years after meeting, we couldn't imagine life any other way.

For us, home is where the heart is, so when it came time to propose, Jordan made our most special place even more magical. He proposed right in the backyard of our first home!

He strung up beautiful lights, making the moment feel incredibly romantic and special. Alexa was completely surprised and, of course, absolutely excited! It was the perfect, intimate start to our engagement.

Today, we still love the simple things: trying new food, settling in for movie nights, and spending time together. After years of adventures, we are ready for our biggest one yet. We can’t wait to be married, start a family together, and continue having countless adventures, big and small—all built on the foundation of being best friends.
