Our love story begins at The Tin Can in downtown Grand Rapids. Dylan and Jordan were each out for a night on the town with their friends. Jordan happened to notice a tall, handsome man with a beard, hat, and boots and pointed him out to her friends, Caroline and Mitchell. They highly encouraged her to go talk to him. At this time, Dylan was the designated driver for his friends, and his group was headed to Mojo's. Caroline noticed Dylan was about to leave and ran up to him. "Hey, my friend thinks you're cute," Caroline said, pointing to a structural pole Jordan was hiding behind. Dylan's friend, Jason, helped wingman the conversation. Dylan told Caroline which bar he and his friends were going to, and then left.

Undeterred, Jordan and her friends made the trek to Mojo's. To Dylan's surprise, they actually showed up! He hadn't quite registered what Jordan looked like until he walked up to her and Caroline and said, "How uncomfortable is this?" Dylan then introduced himself to Jordan and gave her his number. They spent the rest of the night texting, even bonding over a late-night Taco Bell order.

Their first date followed two days later at The Garage. They found themselves directly under a speaker, making conversation a challenge, especially with Dylan trying to keep his cool about the Lions losing to the Ravens. (One Pride!) Despite the noise, they had such a great time they decided on a second location: Jolly Pumpkin, where their shared quest for Michigan's greatest truffle fries began.

Jordan and Dylan continued talking and going on weekly dates. He later asked her to be his girlfriend after taking a weekend trip to Frankenmuth. Then, on June 16th, 2025, during what Jordan thought was just a quick lunch stop at Stormcloud, Dylan completely surprised her with a proposal right there on the beach!

Jordan and Dylan are excited to celebrate their next chapter with family and friends on June 26, 2026, at The Worst wedding.
