Jordan and Ben met in a communications class at Ball State University. While in this class of 125 people they took an empathy test for the class. The professor took the empathy scores and matched students with identical scores up as partners for the final project. Jordan and Ben were partnered and quickly became good friends. They talked all summer and upon returning to campus the following fall they began dating on September 8, 2019.
