While Jordan and Justin grew up in the same small town and attended the same high school, their love story didn't begin until many years later. The two moved back to Alabama in the summer of 2022. Jordan had been living in Tennessee for the past six years, and Justin had lived in Ohio and Colorado during the same time frame. They had always known of each other, but neither had any idea that their lives would eventually cross paths and turn into a love story.

On January 21st, 2023, Justin and Jordan attended a wedding in Opelika, Alabama. They exchanged a cordial wave from their seats at the ceremony, but Jordan soon became curious as to whether or not Justin was single. After noticing that he had left the reception early, Jordan texted Justin's cousin, Amanda, to ask if he was currently dating anyone. Being Amanda, she got right on it and called Justin to tell him that someone was interested in him. Jordan was already one step ahead of her and decided to reach out on Facebook. However, Justin realized that he still had JG saved in his phone, so he decided to text her instead. From there, Justin asked Jordan if she would like to go out the following weekend. Of course, she said yes!

Jordan and Justin had their first date on January 28th, 2023 at Oak Mountain Brewery and then attended a Birmingham Bulls hockey game, and they have been inseparable ever since!
