Back in 2017, Jordan was living in Orlando, FL and trying to move to NYC, when her good friend, Laura, came to visit with her boyfriend Reese. After a few drinks, they both convinced Jordan that she needed to meet their friend, Nick. They showed her a photo of him drinking a beer and holding a baby (shout-out to Sam + Nick Nagel) and that was all she needed to book a flight to NYC.

In December, Jordan flew to NYC. Reese and Laura didn’t have to do too much convincing to get Nick to agree to come meet Jordan. She and some friends were at Kettle of Fish (a well known, Wisconsin dive bar) when Nick showed up fashionably late, walked in and said "Hey Wifey", and ordered everyone a round of tequila shots.

After a fun weekend, Nick realized this was something special, and surprised Jordan by booking her a flight to NYC for New Years Eve and that's where it all began.

In early 2018, after Jordan had moved to NYC and a few months of getting settled, they started dating and have been inseparable ever since.

In August 2022, Nick and Jordan headed to Montauk in The Hamptons for a long weekend (Montauk was their first trip together, and has become a very special place to them).

After a perfect day sipping rosé, and eating an overpriced lobster cobb salad, they headed down to the beach for the sunset when Nick got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. (Side note: Nick was still recovering from knee surgery so was on crutches and working with his physical therapist to ensure he could bend his knee. Talk about commitment and athleticism!)

We are so excited to get married in the place where our story began and where we fell in love. We are so excited to be sharing this next chapter with all of you!
