Our Wedding

One weekend my friend, Krista, called me and wanted me to come see her at UT-Martin for a day during Football Homecoming week. After class one day she picked up her friend from class and brought him over to her house to hang out with us for a bit. I ended up meeting Kyle in her dorm room and I knew from the second we met that he was going to be someone special! We continued talking and didn’t meet again until November when we had our first date! Our first date was to a Memphis Grizzlies basketball game! We had such a good night and then decided to officially start dating after that! I ended up transferring to UT-Martin to be closer to Kyle. We dated for about six months when Kyle gave me a promise ring and unbeknownst to me, it was then that he knew he wanted to be with me forever. In December 2018, Kyle and I were going to Chattanooga to spend New Years with some friends and we went out to eat with our friends, Savannah and Carolina. I got told that we were going to take cute pictures on the bridge. When we got to the bridge Kyle took my hand and walked us away from everyone. He sat a bluetooth speaker on the ground and began playing "Tennessee Whiskey" by Chris Stapleton, I love that song. Kyle got down on one knee and I said the easiest yes of my entire life!
