Jordie and Darius met in the fall of 2018 at Minnesota State University Moorhead where Darius was a junior and Jordie was a freshman. Darius played football at MSUM, and Jordie played softball, which meant they had mutual friends. Since they ran in the same friend group, they hung out together all the time. They began dating on November 5, 2018. They spent their time cheering each other on at football and softball games, going to the lake, and playing with their dog, Pepper Potts. They moved to Texas to enjoy new experiences in 2021. Darius and Jordie were together for about 4 1/2 years before Darius proposed to Jordie (June 8, 2023). Darius and Jordie moved back home to the north in January 2024, and they have spent their time planning a beautiful wedding and spending time with family and friends!
