Our Wedding

In the summer of 2022, I (Jordyn) began working at a church in a small town in Texas. Julian and I both went to serve as leaders for church camp that year which is where we first met. The whole week of camp, we had one 5 minute conversation and didn't really talk much after that. Fast forward to the summer of 2023, a whole year later! I returned to Texas to work at the same church and began attending the young adults group each week. Through our young adults group, we reconnected. By August of that summer, we began hanging out in smaller group settings. One day in August, Julian kindly offered to help me move into my new house. He seemed very eager to help in any way he could. I had no idea what was in store for us! Two days later on August 14th, 2023, Julian asked me out on our first date! We went to a nice dinner in Fort Worth and drove around in his truck and listened to music (our favorite thing to do)! On September 9th, 2023, Julian asked me to be his girlfriend. Since then, we have had lots of adventures together! On May 11th, 2024, in Lynchburg, Virginia, Julian asked me to marry him! The Lord's timing is perfect and His plan is good. As we look back, Julian and I can see God's hand in every moment. We can both say with full confidence that everything has been for His glory and for our good! We cannot wait for June 1st, 2025!
