Christian and Jordyn met in Speech Class their first year at Walla Walla University. As soon as he laid eyes on Jordyn, Christian knew it was love at first sight. He tried to ask her out during a study session, but the offer flew right over Jordyn's head. Things got even more awkward the following day when Jordyn presented her speech on long distance relationships, where she went into great detail about being in one. The following year Christian got into a relationship, while Jordyn was single, then the next year Jordyn got into a relationship while Christian was single. Finally, during their senior year, Christian realized he needed one more the upper division religion class, so he signed up for a random Theology class to fulfill that requirement-- a class that happened to be a required course for Daria Harrison, maid of honor and Jordyn's best friend. Christian, being tenacious as always, proceeded to pester Daria for a planned meeting with Jordyn, which he wouldn't even attend, due to conflicting circumstances caused by poor planning on his end. Jordyn, who had a whole host of suitors, started to leave a trail of digital bread crumbs on her social media about her romantic availability. Christian, again, in his persistence, was the first to pounce at the opportunity. The two started talking and then started dating... as soon as the pandemic hit. The pandemic has yet to end and neither has their love for each other. Despite the many circumstances that should have prevented their unity (almost two years of long distance doing advanced degrees across the country, for just one example), they prevailed, as love always does.
