Blake asked Jordyn to Homecoming! He wanted to do it the day before on "Earth, Wind, and Fire Day" but Jordyn was sick and called out of school. Jordyn thought they were going as friends (even though she was freaking out that her crush just asked her out). Blake thought he just scored a girlfriend.

Blake messaged a friend of theirs, Levi, asking to make an engagement ring for Jordyn. The very next day, Jordyn messaged Levi to see if he could make an engagement ring for her to give to Blake. Levi forged two rings for the couple, let the race begin!

While on a trip to see the fall colors, they both had the rings. She thought he might propose, he thought she was going to propose. It was meant for another day...

Blake took Jordyn on a winter date in Olde Town Arvada, he told her it was spontaneous (it very much was not). They started with viewing the Christmas Lights in Olde Town, went ice skating, and then "finished" the night with a pizza dinner. During dinner, the two of them discussed the times they thought the other was going to "pop the question". She admitted that she thought he was going to propose while they were ice skating. After dinner, Jordyn suggested they go to the Arvada Water Tower, where they had their first kiss and a frequent stop on their dates in Olde Town. Blake happily agreed, everything was going according to his plan. As they approached, Jordyn noticed some musicians setting up under the tower, she suggested they stay back and listen from afar as not to disturb them. Blake continued to pull her towards them. To Jordyn's surprise, it turned out to be their friends. At that point Blake revealed that her instincts were right. He began singing "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis Presley. Blake and their friends had been preparing for months. He got down on one knee but little did he know that Jordyn had been carrying the ring she planned to give him. It was a cold December night but their loved warmed the air, it was perfect!
